We really like The Sword, staff are polite, food is good, it's a bit expensive to eat there, aside of that we'd definitely recommend.

Stayed here over Xmas with my partner for 3 nights. Rooms are lovely. Service is excellent. Food is also great. They didn’t have to cook us breakfast on the final day but they did, which was also super nice. Would definitely stay again.

The food was delicious in every way. The dishes were presented very well and portion size was perfect. The high quality of the food was reflected in the pricing, but was not excessive. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I would certainly recommend it, and definitely go back.

The pub is in a great location. The staff are brilliant as was the service. The beer, I had IPA, was perfect. I had the sausages on mash with gravy.....lovely...but £18 is a bit steep for sausages on mash! Please, someone tell me I'm wrong!!
